Grade 6
Term 1 2018
Term one has started extremely well in Grade 6. We have returned to school and are once again working effectively with our iPads. Everyone is thoroughly engaged in our History inquiry unit - 'Is Australia the Lucky Country?'. We are also looking forward to beginning our summer inter-school sport season and our Grade 6 swimming program. What we are most excited about in Grade 6 is our upcoming camp to Camp Coonawarra in Bairnsdale.
Film Fest 2017
On Monday the 4th of December the Grade 6 students and their teachers celebrated the completed films at the 2017 Apollo Film Fest. Presentation Ceremony'. Leading up to the event, various judges across the school were selected to view, analyse and rate the students' films across a variety of categories (editing, storyboarding, digital effects, costume design, cimematography, sound and the overall winner for the best message). The theme for 2017 was Having a Growth Mindset. Please click on the link below to view the films.
