Grade 5

Term 1 2018

Term 1 saw the Grade 5 students armed with their iPads and ready to join the 1 to 1 Program. Our Inquiry for Term 1 involved investigations into ‘How Australia Became a Nation.’ We focused on the years 1801 – 1901 and the events during this time that formed the nation and how the Indigenous population was affected. Students formed their own inquiry questions and came up with creative ways to share their understandings.

First term was also an introduction to Interschool Sports for Grade 5 students. After team selections, training began and Friday mornings a hive of activity as players headed off to their various sports.
