Term 1 2018

We commence the year investigating ‘What can we do to learn together?’ as the focus of our Linking to Thinking Unit. The children enthusiastically participate in partner and group activities to get to know their new classmates and create a stimulating classroom learning environment.

Our Inquiry for term 1 is, ‘What Is Our Cultural Background?’ Our Grandparents’ Afternoon is ‘Simply the Best!’ Being able to experience the warmth and enthusiasm as the children and their Grandparents share the afternoon together is perhaps the highlight of term 1. The children learn about many different cultures as their Grandparents share their stories.
